PLANNING: Production Splash

To help with the planning of our production splash ideas, I deconstructed two famous production logos, 20th Century Fox and Paramount. These can be seen on the Slideshow beneath. Doing so allowed me to see how different companies made their logos seem important or memorable.

The next file is our production splash. There is the original image and the coloured image, then the final product that we will use, without any sound added as of yet. It will hopefully be of better quality on the final product. There is also a deconstruction of the coloured image to show why we did what we did!

This is the original drawing, drawn by Imogen Ewbank, as recruited by our directing team. The deconstruction below shows why we chose what we wanted to do.
This is the final coloured drawing, coloured using the open-source software, GIMP.

The deconstruction gives a basic example of the reasons why we chose to make our logo look this way and what we want to show the viewers of our film.

This is the final logo, without the music added yet.
